Abstract (EN)

In the content of thesis, it was tried to be determined the effect of different chemical finishing applications and their some working parameters on CIELab values of dyed fabrics and color differences value. And then these values have been tried to predict using different methods. In this situation, it was aimed to know the changing in advance in order to discourage the color changing which was related to finishing application. The finishing applications were applied using the substructure of the University of Cukurova to specimens which were dyed in BERDAN Textile Mills, and the color values were recorded. RealColor 1.3 and CHROMA CMY were preferred for measurement of color and calculations of color differences, respectively. And then prediction models were tried to be established with suitable inputs and measured-calculated outputs by artificial neural network (ANN) and lineer regression techniques. Prediction models were established using 2106 data. SPSS 15.0 and NeuroSolutions 5.0 were used for regression and ANN models, respectively. As a conclusion, before application of finishing processes, CIELab values and color changing could be predicted knowing structural properties, dyeing and finishing recipes and original L*, a*, b* values.
