Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to compare the marital conflicts of individuals living in different geographical regions in terms of demographic features.The research group consists of 688 married individuals in total of whom 414 female and 274 male who are living in different cities from seven regions of Turkey (Ankara, Yozgat, İstanbul, Edirne, Trabzon, Ordu, Antalya, Isparta, İzmir, Balıkesir, Gaziantep, Batman, Adıyaman, Erzurum ve Bitlis). ?Personal Information Form? developed by the researcher and ?Marital Conflict Scale? developed by Hatipoğlu (1993) have been applied to the participants for the collection of data.The collected data within the research has been analyzed with t-test and ANOVA methods. The results of the analyses showed that marital conflicts of individuals differentiate with the region, sex, family visits, relationship period before the marriage, age gap of the couple and age of the marriage.
