The ınvestigation of the effects of various colored dual cure cements used in cementation of different core supported porcelain restorations on the color

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of different colored cements on all ceramic models. In this regard, the effects of cements with two shades on final color of two different colored, three various core-supported ceramic will be examined.In this study, discs of equal thickness from the Finesse All-Ceramic, In-Ceram Alumina and In-Ceram Zirconia all ceramic samples were prepared. The effects of various colored adhesive cements on all ceramic models? final color were compared with ShadeScan on all ceramic models supported with these three different core structures. The samples were scored on the basis of the scanned areas.The samples were scored based on the scanned areas on the scale color maps obtained by ShadeScan. Scored over 100 points for each sample pixels are graded and converted into numerical data. Before applying cement, the difference between color values were evaluated with independent sampling t test on all ceramic models that have A1 and A2 color scale.The difference between the colors before and after the application of cement were analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test because of that it didn?t show a normal distribution.The color values of all ceramic structures belonging to different systems that have the same color scale were evaluated with one-way analysis of variance.As a result, the system that has the most changing final color depending on the color of adhesive cement was Finesse-All Ceramic in each of three all ceramic systems. In-Ceram Alumina is an another ceramic system that has a small amount of final color changing. The final color of In-Ceram Zirconia all ceramic systems didn?t affected in any way by the adhesive resin cements beneath them.
