Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to compare the effects of 5-week different resistance exercise programs on body weight, body fat percentage, body mass index, trunk extensor endurance, anaerobic power and some blood parameters. A total of 32 volunteers participated in our study. The research group was randomly divided into four groups of 8 people. These groups are; Resistance+Core Training Group (DCA), Core Training Group (CA), Resistance Training Group (DA) and Control Group (KG). DCA, CA and DA groups applied the training programs determined for them 3 days a week for 5 weeks. KG, on the other hand, did not implement any training program. The height, body composition, hormone and anaerobic powers of the research group were evaluated before and after the training protocol. The obtained data were analyzed with Wilcoxon and Kruskal Wallis statistics. As a result, it was found that the applied training programs had no effect on body composition and hormone values, but had a positive effect on trunk extension test and anaerobic power values.
