Abstract (EN)

The search about the usage of alternative fillers instead of carbon black in tire rubber composites which has SBR, styrene butadiene rubber continues from past to present. As a result of the use of alternative fillers containing silica instead of carbon black, the superior properties obtained in the final product properties have increased the studies on different fillers. However, studies have focused on the use of silane coupling agent and filler surface modification in order to improve dispersion of the fillers in rubber matrix due to poor dispersion and adhesion properties of silica contained fillers. In this study, silica-contained feldspar, perlite and halloysite filler materials were used as an alternative to carbon black in SBR rubber matrix composites. In order to dispersed the filler materials with the SBR rubber matrix, the filler surface modification was made with a silane coupling agent, and also by adding it from the outside, the compatibility of the filler-rubber in the composites, the process flow properties of the rubber compound and the mechanical properties of the final mixture were investigated. In addition, properties such as rolling resistance, wet and dry grip, winter performance sought in vehicle tire rubbers were tested and the results were interpreted. This study has seperated to four sections and obtained results show that feldspar, perlite and halloysite fillers, which can be used instead of carbon black at a certain rate in the rubber compound, improve properties such as rolling resistance and wet grip; It has been determined that some properties such as abrasion and tear resistance has been effected negatively by comparing it with the only carbon black-containing rubber mixture selected as reference.
