Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in Çukurova University Faculty of Agriculture Department of Horticulture Research and Application area. In the experiment, 4 different boron doses (0, 100 g/da, 200 g/da, 300 g/da) were applied to the Kalender radish variety. The effects of boron fertilization on total plant weight (kg/m2), total root yield (kg/m2), number of leaves (number/plant), leaf weight (kg/m2), root weight (g), root height (mm),root diameter (mm), number of first quality roots (number/m2), number of second quality (scrap) root (number/plant), total number of roots (number/m2), second quality (scrap) root weight (kg/ m2), root ratio (%) were examined. According to the results of the study, the effect of different doses of boron applied from soil and foliar on the parameters examined was not found to be significant. However, in terms of total plant weight (5.40 kg/m2) and total root yield (2.40 kg/m2) highest values were obtained with the application of 200 g /da and 300 g/da boron applied from the soil, In terms of root weight (531.33 g) and root height (79.49 mm), the highest values were obtained from 100 g/da foliar boron application.
