Determination of educational level effects on eating habits and fast food consumtion among the students

Abstract (EN)
This study is conducted to determine the condition of Fast food consumption for students of different educational level aged between 17-24 years old. The sample size of the subject selected is 600 students; 300 of them are college students and the other 300 are university students and the targets of the sample are selected randomly. A questionnaire is designed by the researcher is utilized for collection of information regarding the students eating habits and their families and the data collected by the questionnaire is statistically analyzed using. Eating out for college and university students family due to peer expectation and resemblance is found to be 10.3% and 5.3% for both group respectively and family permission for their children to eat out is found statistically significance (p<0.05). For college and university students food taste is the prior and second incentive white satis faction retreat as a third reason for fast food consumption preference level and this found to be statistically (p<0.05). Consumption of sandawiches(hamburger) and french fried during the weekdays are 166 and 162, 118 and 111 persons for college and university students for both item respectively. White drink preference of cocola is 194 for college students, it is 190 persons for university students. Coffee preference is 117 persons from the college group and 120 persons from ftıe university group. İn tiro both group 72 persons prefere cakes as a fast food item at the weekends.
