Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted to examine the effects of ripening treatments at variable temperatures on the vitality and activation of Phenol and Antioxidant in seeds harvested in different periods in Kemer, Aydın siyahı and Manisa kır çizgili eggplant varieties in 2018-2019. The experiments were carried out in the research laboratory and on the experimental area of Uşak University Faculty of Agriculture. In the study, germination-emergence rates (%), mean germination-emergence times (days), controlled deterioration tests, priming and Phenol, Antioxidant analyzes were performed. In all ripening treatments performed in AS varieties in both years, TG20, NG20 values in seed lots belonging to all maturity groups, TG and NG values of 20% CD test were statistically significant (p<0,05-p<0,01). In Kemer variety, all ripening treatments and HH groups among seed lots which belonging to all maturity periods were statistically significant in NG 20 and NG30, NS30 results. In MKÇ variety, the relationship between harvest days and treatments was found to be significant in terms of TG-NG0 and TS-NS30 and TS-NS20, CD20NG-TG parameters (p<0,01). Antioxidant content of MKÇ variety was statistically significant at 1% level in all applications except the 20 / 35ºC lot belonging to the 1st and 2nd year. When the antioxidant content of K variety was evaluated statistically in both years, maturation at 20 / 35ºC and HH applications were found to be statistically significant in the first year (p<0,05-p<0,01). Antioxidant content of AS cultivar was statistically significant at 1% level in all applications except 35 / 20ºC ripening application in the first year (p<0,01). Phenol values in the first year and EC values in the 2nd year were statistically significant at 1% for three species (p<0,01). The interaction between harvest day and ripening was statistically significant in terms of germination, emergence and CD tests in all cultivars.
