Abstract (EN)

Keywords: Colostrum, antimicrobial activity, buffalo, sheep, cow. In this study, the antibacterial activity of colostrum milk milked with hygienic conditions from sheep, buffalo and three different cows at 1th days and 5th days . againts microbial strains B. subtilis ATCC 6633, S. aureus ATCC 29213, E. faecalis ATCC 29212, S. typhimurium ATCC 14028, E. coli ATCC 25922, S. epidermidis ATCC 12228 P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853 and C. albicans ATCC 1029 antimicrobial effects were examined by using disc diffusion method. This study is the first study to investigate the large-scale antibacterial effect of colostrum obtained from buffalo, sheep and cow species by using different methods. It is important that the work has not been tried before. It is thought that the colostrum contains antimicrobial properties due to its components, but the positive result cannot be obtained due to the fact that the active substance cannot be adequately released despite the many methods used. With the development and dissemination of such studies, natural antimicrobial agents may be an alternative to synthetic antimicrobial agents.
