Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the development status of different kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) genotypes in Bursa ecological conditions at the field trials of Bursa Uludag University, Faculty of Agriculture, Agricultural Application and Research Center trial fields in 2018. 44 kenaf genotypes and 5 witness varieties (Eveglades 41, Eveglades 71, Tainung 1, Tainung 2 ve SF 459) obtained from German Genebank were used as material in the study. 11 kenaf genotypes and 5 witness varieties were planted according to the augmented experimental design in 4 blocks. Days to flowering, days to physiological maturity, plant height, stem diameter, number of capsules per plant, number of seeds per capsule, single plant yield and thousand seed weight components were observed and measured in the study. In the study, HIB-47 line was determined to have the highest single plant yield with 7.86 g/plant, while the lowest plant yields were 3.78 g/plant with HIB-31 and HIB-33 lines. As a result of the correlation analysis, it was found that there were significant and positive relationships between single plant seed yield and number of capsule per plant and number of seed per capsule according to 1% probability level.
