Abstract (EN)
People meet their needs for accommodation by building different structures using different materials from the past day by day. Scientists who have also helped the developing technology investigate different techniques and have reflected the results of this research into their structures. In Civil Engineering education; Both in terms of education methods, professional practices and professional organizations, it is obliged to keep up with the developing and developing technology. It is emphasized that construction engineering education should be safe, usable and economical as it is in all engineering education. However, the sections used for the large openings required in today's constructions are in large size, thus causing the building self weight to increase and the costs to increase. In this study, a roof system consisting of cage and honeycomb beams with 15,20,25 meter of span openings and filled with rows in the roof beam was designed. Different roof beams were used under the same loading, the effect on building cost was investigated.
