Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to provide a good quality mycorrhizae at thequantities using different mycorrhizal peaces, host plant and plant growth medium. The experiment was carried out at University of Cukurova, Faculty of Agriculture,Department of Soil Science, under greenhouse conditions. Maize and sorghum wereused as host plants. Glomus mosseae, G.etinicatum, G. clarium, G. caledonium, G.intradices, G. macrocarpium, G. fassiciculatiım, Cocktail (1), Cocktail (2), G.deserticola and G. versiforme were used the mycorrhizae varieties. In the experimentAndezetic Tufe : Soil : Compost (6:3:1 v/v), Andezetic Tufe: Compost (9:1 v/v),Sand : Soil : Compost (6:3:1 v/v), Andezetic Tufe : Bazaltic Tufe : Compost (5:4:1v/v) and Sand : Andezetic Tufe : Soil : Compost (2:1:1:1 v/v) were used as growthmedium. In the experiment 1000 spores/ per plant were used at sowing stages. Atharvest shoot and root dry matter, root infection, spore production, P and Zn uptakewere determined at 8th weeks after sowing. While inoculated plants by G. deserticola in the plant maize culminated inhigh rate dry matter production, the most spore production was determined in thepots inoculated by G. caledonium. Growth media Andezetic Tufe: BazalticTufe:Compost (5:4:1 v/v) was determined to be the most efficient medium affecting theplant growth and spore development at the highest rate. In the nycorrhizae-inoculatedpots in the plant sorghum it was determined that the application G. caledoniumculminated in the spore production at high rate. Among the growth media the mostefficient growth medium were determined to be Andezetic Tufe : Compost (9:1 v/v)and Andezic Tufe: BazalticTufe: Compost (5:4:1 v/v), respectively.Keywoords: Host plant, growth medium, spore production, mycorrhizae varieties
