A research on the perception of play in parents and children from different cultures

In this research have different sub-cultures (Turkısh-Kurdish-Turkish/village) perceptions about the play low socio-economic status of participants from two generations were examined. Some of the participants in the survey stratified sampling method in accordance with the purposes of Akdeniz street of Mersin neighborhood considering socio-economic status and ethnicity were determined. Other participants also considering the remoteness of Mersin province and district centers have been selected again fort he stratified sampling method in accordance with Olukkoyağı Village. The sample of the study from two different ethnic backgrounds in the neighborhood of the Akdeniz street (Turkish-Kurds) 24 (12 mother, 12 father), who lived in the village 12 (6 mother, 6 father) consists of 18 participants with a total of 36 children and their parents, including parents. Demographic Data Sheet as data collection tools in the research, Parents and Child İnterview Sheet Form is used. The data gathered in line with the responses to interview questions participants considering demographic information in the form of information were analyzed by content analysis. Research findings revealed that three different cultures and two generations from the lower socio-economic level of participants vary according to the influence of the culture of opinion about the play more respect. The five dimensions of both generation in the study (play perception, parental participation in the play, the play space, play substrate material, playmate) were asked questions. The formation of the culture in this very context, questions arise on the findings of the research results led to repeated seperation of villages, cities of all sizes. The study participants from different perceptions of the same generation as a distinct ethnic differentiation, the frequency was observed that differentiation of opinion between different generations of the same ethnic origin.
