Evaluation of different hungarian vetch (Vicia pannonica Crantz.) in Thrace conditions

This study was conducted with 1 variety (Sarıefe) and 6 ecotypes (Altınova, Samsun-1, Samsun-2, Havza-Samsun, Çorum, Tokat-Zile) to determine yield and yield components in 2015 – 2016 and 2016 – 2017 growing seasons at Tekirdağ and Kırklareli conditions. Plant height, branch number, pod number/plant, seed yield, 1000 seed weight, fresh forage yield, hay yield, some macro (N,P,K, Ca, Mg) and micro (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn) nutrients, ADL, NDF, ADF, crude ash ratio, crude protein ratio, fiber ratio, dry matter ratio, DMD, OMD was determined in the study. As result of the study; genotypes (Samsun-1, Samsun-2, Havza-Samsun, Çorum, Tokat-Zile, Altınova and Sarıefe) two years means are given respectively; plant height 72.44, 77,41, 76.36, 75.65, 74.59, 74.61, 73.40 cm, branch number per plant 4.33, 4.64, 4.77, 4.41, 4.43, 4.31, 4.17, pod number/plant 31.49, 24.82, 26.81, 30.51, 31.00, 29.46, 28.39, fresh forage yield 2039.16, 1531.66, 1863.83, 1748.33, 1914,66, 1706,75, 2035.58 kg/da, hay yield 477.31, 335.26, 371.07, 371.06, 421.80, 355,31, 448.97 kg/da, seed yield 164.57, 188.07, 162.10, 147.93, 191.40, 163,42, 189,65 kg/da and 1000 seed weight 35.58, 36.56, 39.03, 34.43, 35,91, 36.57, 38.84 g. Samsun-1, Samsun-1, Havza-Samsun, Tokat-Zile ecotypes has nearest values to Sarıefe on fresh forage yield, hay yield, 1000 seed weight and seed yield.
