Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out under Tokat-Artova (1193m) field conditions in 2018 growing period. In this research, potato clones which belong to 11 different cross families (A3/110 x A2/11; A8/34 x A13/1; T4/4 x T6/28; A2/11 x Melody; A7/12 x Van Gogh; A3/223 x Megusta; Başçiftlik Beyazı x A13/1; Başçiftlik Beyazı x Megusta; Başçiftlik Beyazı x Van Gogh; Aleddiyan Sarısı x A2/11; Aleddiyan Sarısı x T6/28) were scrutinized. This research was second field stage of ongoing potato breeding programme named TÜBİTAK-TOVAG 113O928. The research was started with 807 potato clones derive from abovementioned crosses. At the end of the field trial, the number of clones fell to 514 in consequence of negative selections made before and after the harvest under field conditions and after laboratory studies. Following the harvest, clones were analyzed for some particulars such as clone yield, number of tubers, average tuber weight, shape of the tubers, shape of the skin, color of the skin and color of the flesh. According to the results, a large quantity of variation has been detected among the clones.
