Özet (EN)

This research is implemented to define the understanding of school climate of students who train in different high schools. In this research 257 students from different secondary schools in Kadıköy, and Ümraniye in İstanbul were investigated. Relational Scan Method was selected as the method of the research. In order to gather demographical parameters, a personnel information form was developed by the researcher. Additionally, School Environmental Scale was used.In this research, for results in abnormal scattering format and those for normal different distribution techniques were used. For abnormal scatterings, non-parametrical techniques were more proper, whereas for normal scatterings, parametric analysis was more proper to use. Additionally, Unaffiliated Group t Test, Non-Parametrical Kruskal Wallis-H Test, One Dimensional Variance Analysis (ANOVA-stands for Analysis of Variance), Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis were also applied with .05 percent significance.According to the results encountered at the end of the research, it was carried out to know whether the understanding of school climate of the students, who train in different secondary schools, differentiates or not . While researching, some criterions were selected. These were ; age and gender of the students, type of school and class, branch, parents? job, parents? education statue, town and house that students lived in, revenue of their family and number of people in their family.Key Words: Organizational climate, school climate, secondary education
