Abstract (EN)
Effect of roughness on pressure loss and pressure change versus time in the entrance and fully developed flow region of pipes having different roughness have been experimentally investigated. Also, wall shear stress and Darcy friction coefficient have been calculated via pressure difference at a distance of fully developed flow region, and relation of those values with Reynolds number has been shown graphically. As a result, it was seen that while Reynolds number increases, friction coefficient decreases and wall shear stress increases.
