Özet (EN)
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the efficacy of different remineralization agents via optical coherence tomography and to evaluate the effect of these agents on shear bond strength. Method: In this study, a total of 59 teeth, 12 upper cuts, 11 lower cuts, 12 canines, 12 premolar and 12 molar teeth were used. All teeth were divided into vestibular and oral faces with water cooling and 4 groups were formed; the first group was the control group, the second group was R.O.C.S, the third group GC Tooth Mousse and the fourth group Fluor Protector remineralization agents were applied. All groups contain a similar number of lower cuts, upper cuts, canine, premolar and molar teeth. The 118 samples were embedded in acrylic according to the German Standards Institute's bonding strength form. All samples were initially screened by optical coherence tomography. The teeth in groups 2, 3, and 4 were re-scanned after remineralization. Finally, all samples were subjected to orthodontic composite bond strength testing. Results: In the vestibular and oral surfaces of all teeth treated with remineralization agent, there was a significant difference in ti gray values after baseline and mineralization (p <0.05). Attachment strength was 15,81 ± 5,97 Mpa in the 1st group and 12,95 ± 4,72 MPa in the second group, 12,56 ± 4,73 MPa in the third group and 11,11 ± 6,85 in the 4th group. It was found as Mpa and there was no significant difference between the groups (p> 0.05). Orthodontic composite bond strength was 14,28 ± 7,09 MPa in the first group, 8,07 ± 3,38 MPa in the second group, 10,12 ± 3,34 MPa in the third group and 7,54 ± 3 in the 4th group. It was found to be 34 MPa and the difference between the groups was significant (p <0.05). Conclusion: R.O.C.S. and GC Tooth Mousse 's OCT images showed an increase in gray values and Fluor Protector' s gray values decreased. R.O.C.S., GC Tooth Mousse and Fluor Protector remineralization agents do not affect shear bond strength on vestibular surfaces; but on oral surfaces R.O.C.S. and FP was found to decrease shear bond strength.
