Abstract (EN)
The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of aerobic loadings at different intensities upon the proprioception of elite badminton players. There were 14 male badminton players participated the study with an average age of 24.44 ± 3,47 years , average body weight of 73.87 ± 11,75 kg , average height of 178.67 ± 5,45 cm and average sport life of 10.24 ± 3,11The participants were subjected to shuttle run test modified for maximal ve submaximal loadings . The shuttle test was started with 8 km/h at a constant slope and the speed was increased by 2 km/h after the first three minutes and 1 km/s for the following three minutes . The proprioception measurements of the participants were made with Monitored Rehab Systems(functional squat) apparatus.. Lactate measurements were made with the use of Roche Accutrend brand lactate analyzer and the heart beat rates were determined with a transmitter placed at the chest and a polar watch at the arms of the participants. The exhaustion levels of the participants were monitored by the use of Borg scale during and after the exerciseAt was determined the there were statistically significant differences between the first movement of the dominant leg and the second move of the non-dominant leg after the maximal and submaximal exercises(p<0.05). other comparisons yielded no statistically significant difference (p<0.05No statistically significant differences were observed in the proprioceptional evaluation of the participants based upon in positional sense of the joints in closed kinetic system due exhaustion .
