Özet (EN)
This study aimed to investigate the acute effects of different warm-up protocols on selected motor skill characteristics and 50 m swimming performance. The sample group of our study consisted of 28 male participants studying at Batman University Faculty of Sports Sciences. Our study consisted of 5 protocols (control application, static, dynamic, ballistic, PNF warm-up). In the first week of the study, biometric measurements (height, body weight, stroke length, sitting length, foot length, foot width, hand length and hand width) were performed on the participants. Static warm-up, dynamic warm-up, ballistic warm-up and PNF warm-up applications were performed as four different warm-up protocols. Four different warm-up applications and performance measurement tests determining motoric characteristics were performed 48 hours apart. In order to determine the performance values of motoric characteristics, right and left hand grip strength test, vertical jump test, sit-reach flexibility test, 50 m stroke count and 50 m freestyle swimming times were taken after the warm-up protocols. SPSS program was used in the statistical analysis of the data obtained at the end of the study. Data were presented as arithmetic mean and standard deviation. Shapiro-Wilk test was applied for normality test. For data sets that did not show normal distribution, skewness and kurtosis values were checked and data sets within ±2 were accepted to have normal distribution. One-way analysis of variance was applied for repeated measurements for the analysis of differences between applications. LSD correction test was used to determine which application caused the difference. Statistical results were evaluated at p<0.05 significance levels. According to the right hand grip strength test results applied by the participants, a statistically significant difference was found between the control application, dynamic and ballistic warm-up protocols in favor of dynamic and ballistic warm-up protocols; between the static warm-up protocol and the dynamic warm-up protocol in favor of dynamic warm-up protocol. According to the vertical jump test results, a statistically significant difference was found between the control application and the static, dynamic and ballistic warm-up protocols in favor of static, dynamic and ballistic warm-up protocols; between the dynamic warm-up protocol and the static and PNF warm-up protocol in favor of dynamic warm-up protocol; between the ballistic and PNF warm-up protocol in favor of ballistic warm-up protocol. According to the results of the sit-and-reach flexibility test, a statistically significant difference was found between the control application and all other warm-up protocols in favor of other warm-up protocols; between the PNF warm-up protocol and the static and ballistic warm-up protocol in favor of the PNF warm-up protocol. According to the results of the 50m freestyle swimming degree, a statistically significant difference was found between the control application and all other warm-up protocols in favor of other warm-up protocols; between the PNF warm-up protocol and the static warm-up protocol in favor of the PNF warm-up protocol. As a result; it was determined that the different warm-up protocols applied had a positive effect on right hand grip strength, vertical jump, flexibility and 50m swimming performance times.
