Abstract (EN)

In this study, the critical buckling load of the Euler type thin section shaft under different boundary conditions was determined by analytical and finite element analysis. In addition, natural frequencies affected by the relevant critical buckling loads were determined by finite element analysis using harmonic motion equations. In the analytical and finite element approach, three different boundary conditions were used: Simply-Simply support, Fixed-Simply support and Fixed-Fixed support. Especially in the finite element approach, contact mechanisms are used to determine the critical buckling load value in the fixed-fixed boundary condition. In addition, the critical buckling load, which is calculated within the scope of the study, the equation constants in the analytical approach are calculated for the aluminum shaft by using the natural frequency values corresponding to the buckling load.
