Abstract (EN)
The research is planned in the aim of experiencing the socio economic level ofparents who are having 3-6 age group of children on the toys and play materialsopinion and what kind of toys and play materials this group of children having.Made in Ankara province centre on children in the lowest socio economic iscontaining 131 mother and 131 father totaly 262 and highest socio economic parentsare containg 254 mather and 254 father totaly 508 parents and total parent amountis770.The data?s in the research is gatheret after having the ideas of expert and after it bythe resiarcher who developed the ?toys and play materials questions? for analizingthe data?s the k- square statistics in used. The conculusion taken by us;- The children of low socio economic level and the children of high socioeconomic level and with, low education are playing with toys and playmaterials for 1 hour.- The Low socio economic level children like to play and high socioeconomic children like to play in their room. And when the educationlevels of more increaser, the children choose to play at home environmentmore.- Low socio economic level male children like to play out and spend moretime at outside, and high socio ecomomic level male children like to playwith PC.- Low socio economic level children lone to buy toys effected from theirfriends and other children but the high socio economic level children loneto buy toys effected from TV, reading book, newspaper and magazine.Female children attend toys which have colorful, brilliant and voicedfeatures, male children attend toys which have big, small, active and lightfeatures.- The toys number which is separeted low and high socio economic is 40.Most the low socio economic level children have toys less than 40 andhigh socio economic level children have toys more than 40.- The male children is more strong to their toys but famale one of carefulon them.- The low socio economic children plays with the furniture at their homeless than the high socio economic level children. The male children playwith the remaning stuff and the electronic stuff , female children generallyplay with kitchen stuff, ornamentation stuff, dress and accessory.- Male children are having more toys on electronical toys, current heros andtoys guns than the girls, female children are having more toys on dolls,animals and soft toys. The children who their parents have low level ofeducation have less educational toys and manupulative toys.- Male children play more miniature objects, musical toys, gun toys,electronic toys, active toys, maquette, female children play more dolls,animals and soft toys handicraft toys and select continuously these toyswith other toys. The low socio economic level children selected speciallytoys and continuously play with them more than high socio economiclevel children.- Genarally, low socio economic level children keep in their toys pochetteand sack, high socio economic level childeren keep them in cupboard andshelf. Moreover, low socio economic level male children don?t receiveeasyly their toys when they want to them.- Low socio economic level parents and high socio economic level parentswith low education idendify the toys as its for to make happy the childawarding, spending the space time, enjoyment but the high socioekonomic level parents with high educational level define toys as itseducation which increase the dreaming and creation of a child.- Low socio economic level parents think that their child meet toy at 6month and after 6 month, and buy first toy at 6 month and after 6 month.But high socio economic level parents think that their child meet toy atbetween 1 and 5 month, and buy first toy before their child was born.- The low socio economic level parents believe for not needing to celebratethe births day and special day but high socio economical level parentsbelieve their child needs these and buy them toys.- Low socio economic level parents buy toys to their children after 6 monthor more but his socio economical level parents buy once in a week or in amonth. Low socio economical level parents buy toys for their childrenfrom bazaars and high socio economic levels buy from shopping centers.- The parents buy toys which belong cross gender especially to girls buthigh socio economical level parents with high educations buy toys whichbelong cross gender for both male and female.- The low socio economical level parents buys the toys on the base of it?seconomy but high socio economical level parents buy toys for the uses oftheir child, their wants and needs.- Parents buy more toys to their first child, and get present but on their 2., 3.child they collect toys from their relatives.- Mothers prepare toys from the stuff at home more than fathers to theirchildren. Mothers prepare toys more by sewing, rawing, cloth dolls,dresses but dads make toys more on wood, cartoon etc. cars, block, puzzeletc. While girls want to buy a toys gun and boys want to buy a doll,parents permission to their girls but not their boys.
