Abstract (EN)

The objective of this study is to determine the age and growth parameters of Alburnoides spp. living in the inland waters of Coruh Basin, Eastern Black Sea Basin and Susurluk Basin in Turkey. The age of Alburnoides fasciatus (54 specimens) from the Coruh Basin, Alburnoides fasciatus (92 specimens) from the Eastern Black Sea Basin, and Alburnoides manyasensis (72 specimens) from the Susurluk Basin were determined by taking samples of scales from the specimens, and the growth parameters were determined through measurements. For the population of A. fasciatus sampled from Coruh Basin, the total length range is between 5.02 and 10.38 cm and the age range is between 0⁺ and 3⁺ years. The average weight was calculated as 1.11-11.04 g. Length weight relationship were calculated as W=0.098L3.31, population parameters calculated as L∞=136.86, K=0.31, t0=-0.92. The total length range for A. fasciatus population from Eastern Black Sea Basin is 4.35-11.30 cm and the age distribution is between 0⁺ and 4⁺ years. The average weight is calculated as 0.60-16.97 g. Length weight relationship were calculated as W=0.080L3.60, population parameters calculated as L∞=177.55, K=0.16, t0=1.58. For A. manyasensis population sampled from Susurluk Basin, the total length range is 5.14-10.34 cm and the age distribution is between 0⁺-3⁺ years. The average weight is calculated as 1.06-13.93 g. Length weight relationship were calculated as W=0.104L3.25, population parameters calculated as L∞= 104.85, K=0.57, t0 =0.81.
