Abstract (EN)
This study has been done to determine Acute effect of squat applied in different periods to jumping performance. For this purpose, 9 male athletes were used as subjects who made regular traning at Weightlifting training center under the Directorate of Sakarya Youth and Sport province, whose average ages were 17:44 ± 4:41 years, heights were 165.22 ± 13:22 cm, body weights were 65.72 ± 14.80 kg, the ages of training were 3.88 ± 2.52 years.At the beginning of the study all of the athlete?s check-up were made. Then, 9-person group?s age, height, length, body weight, training ages were determined which will participate in the investigation. Maximal squat values of each of the subjects participating in the survey were determined 2 days before tests and 85% were calculated. Subjects without pre-loading the day before, jump tests were applied as pre-preloaded. After the general warm up, Squat with 85% of the load were performed to the subjects and after 4-minute rest vertical jump and squat jump tests were conducted. The same day, more than one boot wasn?t done, in a day not follow each other were asked to do squat installation fast with % 85. After loading the fast squat, vertical and squat jump tests conducted.Vertical jump performance of the subjects, as a result of pre-preloaded control protocol vertical jump 44.20 ± 8.86 cm, 42.31 ± 7.18 cm in control squat jump, with 85% normal speed after the installation of the vertical jump squat 45.48 ± 8.86 cm, with 85% normal speed after the installation of the squat 44.32 ± 7.75 cm squat jump, vertical jump after the squat loading which was done with %85 faster, 44.45 ± 8.06 cm, squat jumping after the squat loading which was done with %85 faster 43.17 ± 8.42 cm they jumped were determined.Squat loading methods applied in different periods of time the acute effects on vertical jump performance were analyzed according to ANOVA statistic in repeated measures and As a result of the analysis, it was found that installation methods applied in different periods had no significant difference on the vertical jump performance (F = 1,841, p >0,212).Squat loading methods applied in different periods of time the acute effects on squat jump performance were analyzed according to ANOVA statistic in repeated measures and As a result of the analysis, it was found that different installation methods had significant difference on the squat jump performance (F= 0.486; p<0.505). According to LSD test, at squat jump performance, after the skuat front-loading protocol with preloaded protocol between post-jump performance statistical difference was found. But not found among other protocols.As a result, the installation method of squat application of the different periods of time is ineffective creating PAP and we can say that this issue needs further study.Keywords: Post Activation Potentiation, Skuat installation, Vertical and Squat Jump
