Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to determine the effects of different liquid fertilizers on germination and seedling development of durum wheat. The experiment was carried out in the plant growth cabin of the Field Crops Department laboratory of Siirt University, Faculty of Agriculture. The temperature of the environment was kept between 25±3 °C during the experiment. Plants were grown in the light period for 16 hours and the dark period for 8 hours during the experiment. Liquid microbial fertilizer (0, 150, 300, 450 ml/100 lt water), liquid bat guano (0, 1, 2, 3 lt/100 lt water), liquid chicken manure (0, 1, 2, 3 lt/100 lt water), liquid worm manure (0, 150, 300, 450 ml/100 lt water) and liquid fertilizer of plant origin (0, 200, 400, 600 ml/100 lt water) were given to the plants with irrigation water. In the study, germination rate, germination index, average germination time, seedling vigour index, stem thickness, stem length, root length, stem fresh weight, stem dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight, stem fresh/root fresh ratio, stem dry/root dry ratio and chlorophyll content parameters were examined. According to the results obtained, 450 ml microbial fertilizer/100 lt water application came to the fore and is statistically in the same group with 300 ml microbial fertilizer/100 lt water application.
