Abstract (EN)
TLDs are effective tools in order to assess how much radiation exposure a person receives from substances or equipments that produce radiation. The performance of TL dosimeter is evaluated by taking into account properties such as linearity, dose range, energy response, reproducibility, stability of stored information and isotropy. Measurement of absorbed dose in soft biological tissue exposed to ionized radiations requires that the dosimeter material has a similar atomic composition as that of human tissue, i.e. to be tissue equivalent (Zeff = 7.42). Therefore, it is possible to say that borate based TL dosimeters (TLD) appeared to be one of the most attractive materials in personal dosimetry due to its effective atomic number of 7.3. In this study, energy (E) and frequency factor (s) and kinetic order (b) of the glow peaks of Li2B4O7:Cu,Ag,P and MgB4O7:Tm,Na dosimeters have been analyzed using the computer program with created Delphi codes.
