Abstract (EN)

Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) is the luminescence emitted by an irradiated insulator or semiconductor during exposure to visible light. The OSL intensity is a function of THA radiation dose absorbed by the sample and this can be used as the basis of a radiation dosimetry system.Al2O3:C is one of the materials that is used widely in dosimeter applications. In this study, the dose reactions of Al2O3:C which is used as an OSL dosimeter commonly to various nuclear radiation ranges are examined. Al2O3:C tablets were exposed to alpha, beta particles and gamma photons and blur light-emitting diode (LED); then, the stimulated luminescence counts were absorved. In experiments of alpha (226Ra) and gamma (137Cs) the point sources were used. In x-ray experiments, Linac at the Department of Radiotheraphy at Atatürk Chest Surgery Training and Research Hospital was used and 90Sr-90Y sources were used in experiments of beta particles.
