Abstract (EN)
Soil erosion which has to deal with today's world and Turkey is the one of the major environmental problems. In recent years, quantitative soil erosion estimation models have been developed especially in 20 years. The Rusle method is also described in Wischmeier et al. is a revised version of the Usle method that they developed in 1978. The method calculates the potential loss of soil from the study area in hectare / year / ton unit by calculating five different factors. The method is used to calculate soil loss in agricultural areas and then it is used as a method to give information about the general erosion processes of the region for geosciences with various revisions. Akçay Basin, which has been opened to the erosional processes, a branch of Eşen Stream and originating from Karadağ which is located about 30km north of Fethiye's, has also been selected as a study area. In order to obtain soil loss in the Rusle method, the erosion-forming factor of precipitation and flow R, the rate of soil erodobilte K, slope and slope length factor LS, land use and vegetation factor C, the factors of soil conservation measures factor P are multiplied each other. As a result, soil loss is calculated in ton / ha / year unit. In the study, the LS factor RUSLE method of forming digital elevation model (DEM) 'Srtm30m.' ',' 'Alos12.5m.' 'and' 'tandem-X12m.' ' is used. In the study, TanDEM-X12m., Alos12.5m. and Srtm30m. were used as numerical elevation models that formed the LS factor. Since this factor value consists of slope and slope length, it increases in mountainous areas especially in areas where the slope increases. If resolution of the SYM datas increase of the base used in such studies the power of reflect topography increase. According to the results obtained ,TanDEM-x12m that has the highest resolution, the potential soil loss amount of data is 0 - 167 ton / ha / year, Alos12.5m 0 - 147 ton / ha / year and Srtm30m. 0 - 139 ton / ha / year were calcaluted.
