Abstract (EN)

Turkey has a wide variety of climatic characteristics because of the geographical location. Geographical location, various climates and topography of Turkey are divided into three different phytogeographical regions in terms of plant diversity, depending on, in particular, height and solar orientation. These regions are the Euro-Siberian, Mediterranean and Iran-Turan phytogeographical or floristic regions. The characteristics of the three climate types are quite different. Some plant specimens that grow here will be studied. There are 2 types of cities that will be selected from the cities where these climate types are dominant. Differences that occur in leaf surfaces and wood anatomical structures will be measured. The work will be done with samples taken from Kastamonu, Antalya and Eskişehir. The subjects to study are Nerium oleander and Rosa The effect of growth conditions on species in the study shall be determined by electron microscopy (SEM= Scanning Electron Microscope) at the Central Laboratory of Kastamonu University. In addition, fiber length, fiber width, lumen width, cell wall thickness, elasticity, felting, rigidity, Runkel, F factor, Mühstep classification will be determined from the anatomical characters.
