Özet (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of different growing media and different IBA concentrations on the rooting properties of the endemic Thymus revolutus cuttings that grow naturally in Antalya Province, Konyaaltı District Akdamlar Area. In the experiment, carried out in a single period, different growing media [Peat+Perlite (1:1 volumetric), Peat+Sand (2:1 volumetric), Perlite+Sand (1:1 volumetric)] main plots; IBA applications at different doses (0 (control), 500 ppm and 1000 ppm) formed the sub- plots. The experiment was designed in 3 replicates according to the split plot and 20 cutting were used in each replicate. In this experiment, rooting rate (%), root number, root length (cm), stem number, stem length (cm), stem diameter (mm), root dry weight (g) and stem dry weight (g) were determined. As a result of the study, the highest rooting rate was determined with %96,67 in cuttings that were applied 500 ppm IBA and rooted in Perlite+Sand (1:1 by volume). It was determined that the growing media had a greater effect on the rooting properties of the cuttings than the IBA applications.
