Abstract (EN)
Dams are structures which are built with different methods using concerete, clay, sand, sand, Stone and filter meterials to eliminate irregular seasonal flow and to ensure the controlling of water flow. Even if these different methods provides the same water volume and service life ; they have different construction costs. Therefore the raleted organizations are forced to investigate the cost of alternative housing types for a dam providing the same yield. In this study, costing and comparing of four different alternatives of planning the constructions of kuruçay dam onto the streams involving from the left side to tigris river are investigated by the State Water Works (DSİ).
