Özet (EN)

Post-cores are indicated for the restoration of endodontically treated and extensively damaged teeth. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the influence of surface treatment applied on posts over push-out bond strength of adhesively cemented biological dentine posts. Cylindrically shaped biological dentine posts fabricated from mandibular premolars by using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) were exposed to different surface treatments as follows; Groups A: no surface treatment, Group B: posts were immersed in 37% phosphoric acid for 60 s and rinsed with deionized water for 2 min, Group C: posts were immersed in 24% hydrogen peroxide for 10 min, Group D: 1.5W Er,Cr:YSGG laser. Sixty maxillary incisor and canine teeth were restored with these posts (n=15) by using self-adhesive resin cement. Each root was resected into 5 dentin slices of 2 mm thickness. By this way, push-out bond strength was measured at five different levels. A universal testing machine was employed for this purpose. Data were analyzed with Tukey HSD and Anova Tests. The mean push-out test results of the groups were 8,57 MPa, 10,87 MPa, 7,34 MPa and 5,86 MPa respectively. Although phosphoric acid provided statistically significantly higher bonding strength (p0.05), no group showed statistically significant difference from the control. According to the current results, it can be stated that none of the surface treatment did not significantly benefit the bonding strength of the biological dentin post. Keywords: Biological dentin post, push-out bond strength, surface treatment.
