Abstract (EN)

This research was performed during the growing season of 2018 year in vineyard of a grape grower (41°01' 06.39'' N and 27°40' 24.78'' E; 57 m. above sea level), which was located in Karaevli neighborhood of Tekirdag city. In the study, grapevines of cv. Cabernet Sauvignon which were cordon trained and grafted onto 110 R rootstock were used. In the trail, liquid seaweed was applied on leaves of grapevines in two period (First time: Berry setting period and Second time: Verasion period) at four doses (0, 1000, 2000 and 3000 ppm). It was observed in study that application times and application doses had crucial effects on physical characteristics of berry and bunch and grape phytochemical characteristics. As a result of research, it was determined that second time as seaweed application time and 3000 ppm as application dose were found to be more effective on wine grape quality characteristics such as soluble solids content, total phenolic compounds content, total anthocyanin content and antioxidant capacity for cv. Cabernet Sauvignon.
