The Dîvân of Fasîh Ahmed Dede contextual index and functional dictionary

In this thesis, the Dîvân of Fasîh Ahmed Dede, one of the 17th century poets of classical Turkish literature, was prepared as a contextual index and a functional dictionary. TEBDİZ (Historical and Literary Texts Contextual Index and Functional Dictionary) is an electronic data system prepared in dictionary format by revealing the meaning world of the works of classical Turkish poetry. This system was used to prepare systematic and regularly contextual indexes of the verses on this Divan. With the data obtained through this system, the Divan Court was evaluated. The verses in the Divan are loaded into the TEBDİZ system by giving numbers to each verse according to their shapes and types. The word and word groups were made by using the TEBDİZ data entry method in accordance with the cultural, political and social life of the period by making additional and root distinction. The meaningful words and groups of words were converted into contextual index alphabetically in TEBDİZ system. This dictionary, which is prepared by giving the contextual meaning as well as the basic meaning of the word, is important in terms of revealing the richness of literary texts unlike the text analysis studies. In this thesis, in addition to the contextual index and functional dictionary, Fasîh Ahmed Dede's importance in classical Turkish literature, information about his life and works are included. In particular, it is aimed to reveal the poet's language, style and originality in the richness of the meaning.
