Abstract (EN)
Our purpose of preparing my master thesis work in England (1066 - 1087) in the period of William the Conqueror was one of the most important breakpoints of medieval European history until now to the XI of the Vikings/Normans to take over the Feudalism of the Middle Ages, which is the land and administrative system of the Middle Ages, along with the occupation of England in the XIst century, and to examine other developments in England during the same period. As is known, the Viking invasions from the north, the Hungarian invasions from the east and the Muslim conquest movements from the south, the Middle Ages Europe has been in a difficult situation and has had many problems both economically and politically. The Duke of Normandy Guillaume (William) II, who ruled the north of France during this period and descended from the Viking lineage when he could not take the promised land to him, his neighbor, England, came up with a chieftain and occupied it. However, when the region was occupied, it realized that this place was not governed by the feudal system as in France, and tried to bring the system of land and administration in France here. For this, he initiated a study called "Domesday Book" or "Domesday Survey" which is the most important research work of medieval history and made this region a part of Europe. In doing this, we first mentioned the Duke of Normandy Guillaume's II. family and childhood, and then to his visit to England when the government came. Then, after deciding to conquer England, we first dealt with the occupation movement and its dimensions after the war. In the end, we talked about the influences that made Britain history about the innovations it brought to England with the receipt of William the Conqueror. While our study, we first viewed the Anglo-Saxon Chronic with chronic Ingulph anonymous. Later we tried to illuminate the works of researchers such as Douglas, Freeman, Tappan, Morris. Thus, we tried to describe the "William the Conqueror Period", the breaking point of the History of England.
