Population change and spatial analysis in Fatsadistrict

daha sonra doldurulacaktırIn this thesis, the main natural environmental characteristics, economic factors, population characteristics and sociocultural and spatial change characteristics that are effective in the change of population in the research area are analyzed in four sections. In the first chapter where the natural environmental characteristics of the research area are examined: geographical location, geological and geomorphological structure, climate, hydrography, vegetation and soil characteristics are discussed. In the second chapter, the main human factors that are effective in the change of population are analyzed. In this direction, settlement history, settlement characteristics, economic activities are discussed. In the study area where hazelnut cultivation is the main economic source, hazelnut growers were surveyed. In the third section where population characteristics are analyzed, total population change, change in rural and urban population, population density, fertility rate, population growth, distribution of population by age and sex, median age, education level, marriage and divorce, migration and population projections are explained. In addition, a survey was conducted with seasonal agricultural workers. In the fourth chapter of the study, socio-cultural and spatial change is discussed. Accordingly, change in land use, socio-cultural change, economic change and change in dwellings were analyzed. In this thesis, numerical data, tables, graphs and maps were utilized. Field studies were conducted in urban and rural settlements in the research area and interviews were conducted with local people. Data received from various public institutions were evaluated and interpreted in relation to space.
