Values education and vocabulary in Fehmi Gur's selected poems

Literature is an art that arouses aesthetic pleasure. While arousing aesthetic pleasure meanwhile it aims to educate people and guide the beauty. While it refers it also takes into consideration the elements of educational values. Folk literature, a person and a group of people who have a tradition, is a collection of creations that contain aesthetic concerns. Folk poets come out of the public, poets are who dedicate the works to the public and aim to pass the public various values . 'Values and vocabulary in from Arapgir folk poet Fehmi GUR'S selected poems' under thetitle of in this study we prepared the reason why Fehmi Gür was elected. In addition to being a popular poet in Malatya, his poems have a deep meaning. In this research, Assist Prof. Dr Ramazan CIFTLIKCI's books, published in two volumes, were studied. 100 poems were selected from his work, terms of values education were examined and vocabulary was determined in these poems. Our study is consist of five parts. In the first part of our study, the aim and importance of the study are mentioned. In the second part, theoretical information related to the subject of the study and related studies were given and the author was introduced. In the third part, information about the method of the study is given. In the fourth part, Fehmi GUR's selected poems were examined in terms of values education and vocabulary. In the fifth part of the study, results and suggestions are mentioned Fehmi GUR, he is a poet who lived in Arapgir, the town of Malatya, and connected with the traditions and customs of the region. He often mentions Arapgir in his poems. GUR, wrote his poems with syllabic meter and used his own name in the last verse of the poems. He intensely mentioned malfunction, mistake and corruption of society in his poems. Poems are medium plainness in the sense of language. In some of the selected poems, Arabic and Persian words were found with composite and some poems were written in a simple Turkish. Fehmi GUR has always attached importance to values such as love, friendship, solidarity and honesty. In addition to being patriotic and be patient with the problems, it is also important for him. GUR, has included both social and individual values in his poems. In terms of values education elements and vocabulary, Fehmi GUR's poems have not been examined so far.
