Abstract (EN)

Body is performers' instrument to perform his/her art. Therefore, the performer should educate and improve his/her expression instruments as well as the body and should keep them alert and strong. These features are essential for the quality of the performance. The preparation of the performer should start with self-discovery and continue with improvement, alteration and transformation. During this process, the performer should intensify the dependence with his or her being. This dependence needs the relationship between the performer and the self. Therefore, it is fundamental for performer to improve his/her awareness. During the preparation and performing process, the performer needs to learn and improve oneself on the field. There are many methods and study disciplines on this issue. Feldenkrais Method is one of them. In this study, the focus is the theorem of Feldenkrais Method, the movement and enhance human functioning. It is aimed that this work based on the examination of the Feldenkrais Method, the awareness and the performance of the actor, will contribute to this field acting studies.
