Abstract (EN)

Religion and philosophy are in a reciprocal relation and interaction. Human being who need to understand and interpret the universe and his existence has to endeavor to reach a real answer by "thinking". Religion is there for guiding, to show the way of thinking to help them realize the situations that hinders to use his intelligence and comprehension ability to make more appear the cause of existence, to point the fact sandphenomenon to be thought on with the highest conciosusness God'senvoy. Reading holy books for generel sense and Quran for special understanding is the main source not only to as certain the God'scommandments bu also to give the meaning to existence. This study that is contex tualized with the philosophy history's well known thinkers' "descriptions and methods of thinking" aims to analyze the Quran verses with the philosophical perspective foridentifying 'the ractice of thinking' that holy Quran emphasizes on. In the first part, this study explains what Quran is with the verses from Quran. In the second part,the identification of thinking and the concept of thinking are stated. In the finaş part this study claims that the reason why we don't 'think' in the same sense as it is stated bye the creator in holy Quran is because not knowing how to practice 'thinking'.
