Abstract (EN)
There is no common method used in philosophical counseling practices, which emerged as a new type of counseling and a field of applied philosophy in the world in the 1980s. Almost every philosophical counselor has a different counseling approach. It can be argued that the ground on which all these approaches exist is philosophical thinking and philosophical knowledge, as well as the methods of doing philosophy as an activity. The main purpose of our research is to examine these different philosophical counseling approaches and, based on the assumption that philosophy is an activity structured in language, to put forward an approach for philosophical counseling, which claims to be philosophical, that is appropriate to the Turkish cultural structure by native Turkish speakers. In line with this aim, our research is on the philosophical discourse of Nermi Uygur, who deepens in the context of "language", "culture" and "human" and raises his philosophical discourse on these concepts. When all the works of Nermi Uygur, who is a philosopher of life, are examined as a whole with their intertwined structure, the conceptual framework that a philosophical counselor can bring to the sessions that enable him/her to meet with the advisee or advisees, the conceptual framework that will form the formal structure of these sessions and the possibilities offered by these concepts emerge. The research consists of three parts. In the first part, the answers to the questions "What is philosophical counseling?", "What is philosophy in terms of philosophical counseling?", "What is the history of philosophical counseling?", "What are the philosophical counseling approaches in the world?" The answers to these questions were investigated. In the second part, the answers to the questions "What is Philosophical Discourse?", "What is Nermi Uygur's Philosophical Discourse?", "Who is Nermi Uygur?" were investigated before Nermi Uygur's philosophical discourse was investigated. Finally, in the third part, what Nermi Uygur's works titled Dilin Gücü, Kuram-Eylem Bağlamı, İnsan Açısından Edebiyat, Dünyagörüşü, Felsefenin Çağrısı offer to the field in terms of philosophical counseling, what his concepts are and how he approaches these concepts, how these concepts can be productive in terms of philosophical counseling, and finally, how Nermi Uygur's original method, the "analytical-descriptive method" can be used in philosophical counseling. Keywords: Philosophy, Philosophical Discourse, Philosophical Counseling, Nermi Uygur, Philosophical Therapy.
