Abstract (EN)

At the present day, a direct relationship has been formed in between science and information technology, in other words, information technologies are being used directly in the whole phases of the scientific research process (data compilation, data management analysis and propogation of gathered information). Without exception, information technologies are being used in all disciplines. In a lot of country, educational systems are placed on distance learning in computer environment. The usage of computer?s getting into all the fields in the world extensively, makes it necessary to be familiar with computer sciences and education in computer environment. In our country, at the educational organisations, opportunities to utilize the information technologies are on increase with each passing day. However, the quality and the quantity of the information technology appliances to be utilized is important as much as the approach and the behaviour of the students and teachers against the information technologies.Especially, teacher candidates? utilizing position of information technologies at the present time in the university, affects their use of information technologies in their next professional lifes at a high rate. In this research, the role of the information technologies in science education and science teacher candidates? opinion and approaches about the usage of the information technologies have been tried to be put forth for consideration.
