Abstract (EN)

This study's purpose is to examine the computer self efficacy perceptions and attitudes toward computer-aided education of computer science teacher candidates and compare them in terms of various variables. In the study, the attitudes and self-efficacy perceptions of Computer Science Teacher Training 2 nd class teacher candidates studying at Akdeniz University are analyzed by age, gender, personal computer and tablet status, computer attendance status, whether they differ according to the variables such as computer programs, are examined and interpreted. The study's universe constitudes second grade science teacher candidates. The sample of study is composed of 55 science teacher candidates who are studing second grade of science education teacher training of Akdeniz University in the academic year of 2016-2017. "The attitude scale toward making computer supported education" and "Self-Sufficiency scale in relation to computer based education" developed by Arslan (2006) were used as data collection tools in the study. The data obtained are analyzed and calculated according to SPSS program. Correlations, unrelated sample t-test, related sample t-test, Mann Whitney test and Kruskal Wallis test were performed to determine whether there was a significant difference between these data and sub-problems. As a result of the study, it was determined that science teachers' attitudes and self-efficacy perceptions regarding computer-aided education were "positive". It was detected that among science teacher candidates the age, personal computer and days of computer use they can use were not a significant variable for their attitude towards computer and their self-sufficiency attitudes' examination. At the beginning of the year, while there was no significant difference between the computer self-efficacy perceptions teachers according to the gender variable, it seems that there was significant difference at the end of the year. This difference is in favor of men. At the beginning of the year, while there was significant difference between the computer self-efficacy perceptions teachers according to the having tablet, it seems that there wasn't significant difference at the end of the year. At the beginning of the year, while there wasn't significant difference between the computer self-efficacy perceptions and attitudes toward computer-aided education according to the condition of going to a computer course variable, it seems that there was a significant difference at the end of the year. At the beginning of the year, while there was significant difference between the computer self-efficacy perceptions teachers according to the number of programs they can use, it seems that there wasn't significant difference at the end of the year. Also, positive and significant correlations were found between students' attitudes toward computer-aided education and self-efficacy perceptions of science teacher candidates.
