Abstract (EN)

With this research, it is aimed to prepare a scale to determine the creativity levels of prospective teachers studying at the undergraduate level of science teaching. In this context, 15 questions suitable for student's level from physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and ecology sub-branches were prepared by me. The questions were sent to 5 lecturers who were experts in their fields for their opinions. After the expert opinion was taken, the number of questions was reduced to 13 and pilot application was made with the participation of 95 pre-service teachers studying in Inonu University Faculty of Education Science Teacher Education 2nd and 3rd grade. The data obtained from the pilot application were tested with one-dimensionality and local independence assumptions of the Multi-Surface Rasch Model. For the one-dimensional assumption, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was performed over the averages of the scores given by the raters. Before the AFA was performed, it was determined by Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) and Barlett test whether the data were suitable for factor analysis. In order to determine the reliability of the scale, internal consistency coefficient of cronbach alpha was calculated and found to be 0.758. At the end of the research, the data analysis was examined and the number of questions was reduced to 10 and a scientific creativity scale was established to determine the scientific creativity levels of undergraduate students studying in science teaching.
