Abstract (EN)

One of the most important factors affecting the competitiveness of developed countries is closely related to the field of science and technology education in that country. Through the reforms implemented today, learning and teaching environments have been started to handle with a new content and design. These changes include opportunities for students to learn not only in classroom learning, but also out of school learning environments. Carrying out of this process successfully requires that teacher education programs should be handled accordingly and content should be improved in a qualified way through necessary policies. In this process, the emergence of out of school learning experiences in teacher education, enriching the content and practices that improve the learning experiences out of school are among the subjects that are currently studied on. From this point of view, in this thesis study, out of school learning experiences of preservice science teachers have been examined in terms of various variables and out of school learning experiences have been tried to find out and which variables that affect these experiences. As a results of this study, it was seen that there was a significant difference between the pre-school learning experiences of the pre-service teachers in terms of the gender variable, the type of high school they graduated and where their families live.
