The effect of technology-assisted interactive teaching activities on science achievement

The aim of this study is to research the effect of interactive teaching activities that is technology supported intended for science lesson on student achievement. In the study experimental research method was used with the experiment and control group. Students who studying at two classes which are sixth graders form the research group in the study at a secondary school in Şanlıurfa province in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. As data collection tool, "Force and Motion Unit Achievement Test" and "Personal Information Form" as pretest and final test those are created by providing of validity and reliability that has been taken expert opinion was be used in the research. Datas was be analyzed by evaluating as quantitatively. "The technology-assisted interactive teaching activities" how affects student achievement has been tried to determined with the research. Also, it was be investigated whether there is a meaningful diversity according to gender and development levels in the experimental group which "The technology-assisted interactive teaching activities" was applied. "The technology-assisted interactive teaching activities" has a positive effect on increasing academic achievement and memorableness, gender factor has no effect on learning levels it was seen that as a result of the research.
