Abstract (EN)

In the field of science education, the large number of studies on the theory of multiple intelligences has revealed the need to determine the general framework on the subject. The aim of this study; The aim of this study is to examine the studies on the theory of multiple intelligences between 2002-2020 in Turkey in the field of science education with the method of content analysis and to reveal the trends in science education. As a result of the scanning carried out for this purpose, content analysis of 48 master's and 6 doctoral theses and 27 articles was made. The document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In the studies examined within the scope of the research; Academic text type, publication year, region of application, science research topic, research method, research design, sampling method, sample level, application period, data collection tool, data analysis method and the aims of the studies were evaluated. Research questions were handled as a category in the analysis of the data. In line with the determined criteria, the documents were examined in detail. The data obtained were placed in the categories determined in the Excel program. These data are described with tables by calculating their percentages and frequencies. According to the results obtained from the research data; It was found that the number of master's theses was higher and the most publications were made in 2006. Apart from this, it was determined that the most applications were made in the Aegean Region and the application period was 1-4 weeks at the most. It was observed that the sample level was mostly composed of secondary school students, and the simple random sampling method was frequently preferred. It has been observed that the most preferred subject of science is systems, the quantitative research method is frequently preferred, and the experimental research design is used the most. In addition, it was determined that the test was used the most as a data collection tool. In addition, in the analysis of the data, the t-test is among the most used results. Finally, when the aims of the studies were examined, it was determined that the effect of multiple intelligence theory on academic achievement was mostly examined.
