Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are significant relations between technological pedagogical content knowledge with attitudes towards information and communication technologies (ICT), Science teaching self-sufficiency and attitudes towards the teaching profession and career development aspiration of Science teachers. In the research science teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge, attitudes towards information and communication technologies (ICT), science teaching self-efficacy, attitudes towards the teaching profession and career development aspiration variables have been examined separately. In the light of obtained data, the relations between these variables have been presented. Adopting quantitative research method in the research, scan type descriptive correlation pattern has been used. As data collection tools; technological pedagogical content knowledge scale, attitude towards information communication technologies scale, science teaching self-efficacy belief scale, attitudes towards teaching profession and career development scale have been used. Science teachers working in middle schools in central districts of Ankara formed population of the study (N=1800). The research sample consisted of 515 science teachers selected through stratified sampling from population of the study. According to research findings, it was determined that science teachers' attitudes towards information communication technologies, science teaching self-efficacy and attitudes towards teaching profession and career development desires predicted technological pedagogical content knowledge significantly. In addition, it has been found that science teachers' attitudes towards technological pedagogical content knowledge and information communication technologies are significantly related to attitudes towards science teaching self-efficacy and teaching profession and career development desire.
