Abstract (EN)

In this study, electrochemical properties of active compounds named Phenylephrine (PHE) Hydrochloride was investigated by voltammetric methods using ultra trace graphite electrode. In different supporting electrolyte, oxidation was studied by voltammetric methods to investigate the optimum conditions. pH= 8,02 BR solution in which sharp peak and maxium current was observed, at ultra trace graphite electrode for Phenylephrine Hydrochloride, was selected as supporting electrolyte. The effects of pH on the peak current and peak potential for material was investigated by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and the effect of scan rate on the peak current was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) techniques. In order to check accucarcy and precision of applied voltammetric method, recovery experiment of Phenylephrine (PHE) Hydrochloride was carried out from the drug tablet and human urine. Furthermore, the amount of Phenylephrine (PHE) Hydrochloride was determined in drug tablets. Keywords : Phenylephrine (PHE) Hydrochloride, Voltammetric Method, Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV), Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), Ultra Trace Graphite Electrode, Commercial Drug Tablets, Human Urine.
