Abstract (EN)

o-Phenylenediamines (o-PDA) and derivates are among the most dangerous amines in terms of human health. It is estimated that o-PDA and derivates are extensively used in manifacturing of hair dyes, food colorants and foods. As a result, these substances present in dyed hair, biological liquid, environment and food samples is expected. In thıs work, an analytical method based on GC-MS analysis was developed for qualitative and quantitative analysis of o-PDA derivates in hair dye, dyed hair, gastric juice, food and environmental samples. This method includes derivatizing, liquid-liquid extraction and GC-MS analysis of molecular interested. For this aim, derivatization was achiveed with nitrite. pH parameter was optimized to pH 2 for high yield. 1H-benzotriazole (1H-BT) derivates were extracted with toluen. Highest extraction yield was established at pH 6. 1H-BT derivates o-PDA?s were extracted at pH 6 to isolate. Extracted derivates were analysed with GC-MS and structural identification of compound were carried out. A sensitive, spesific and applicable GC-MS method was developed for determination even low concentration of PDA?s in hair dye, dyed hair, industrial wastewater, river water, seawater, fruit juice and gastric juice samples.
