Abstract (EN)

In Turkish literature, many works were translated or annotated by being influenced by various cultures, and the works of different cultures were introduced to our culture in this way. Among these, he was born from Iranian literature and made his name known to different geographies Pendnâme is a work that brings solutions to the problems of its time with a different style and language and maintains its prestige today. Commentary; It has various meanings such as explanation, expounding, opening. One of the commentary works in this direction is Ferâʼizî-zâde Mehmed Saʼîd Efendiʼs Pend-nâme-i Attar Commentary. Pendnâme-i Attar Commentary XVIII. at the end of the century and the XIX. It was written in 1809 at the turn of the century. The copy of this work belongs to the author and is published in the National Library Summer. Located at number 3310. It is totally 113 leaves. Another work of Ferâʼizî-zâde Mehmed Saʼîd Efendi is History-i Gülşen-i Maarif. We reach the information about Ferâʼizî-zâde through this work. His real name is Mehmed Saʼîd. He is the son of the artist Seyyid Ferâʼizî Mehmed Efendi, who was born in Bursa. He received his primary education from his father. At the same time, Ferâʼizî-zâde, who studied at a madrasa, also studied Arabic. Ferâʼizî-zâde's death date is mentioned in the sources as 1835. His grave is in Bursa Emir Sultan Mosque. In his commentary Ferâʼizî-zâde applied the annotation method by numbering the couplets in the text, and he interpreted Pendnâme in this way. He analyzed the words in three stages as etymological, grammatical and meaning. In short, in his work, the author first explained the word or suffix in all three languages, Arabic, Persianand Turkish. Later, it was translated into couplet annotation as a whole.
